In ultimele cateva luni, cariera lui Tensnake a explodat, in momentul de fata germanul facand parte din categoria celor mai apreciati producatori ai lumii.
Toata lumea de la Pete Tong la Annie Mac au sustinut uriasul succes "Coma Cat", care se afla in difuzare la BBC Radio 1 de peste cinci saptamani, ceea ce este foarte important pentru un artist. 
Orienta spre disco, soul, boogie si funk, Tensnake aka Marco Niemerski, a inceput sa asculte muzica anilor '80, a crescut cu  staruri pop precum Simple Minds si Duran Duran. La 16 ani a trecut prin muzica anilor '60 - '70, The Who si The Small Faces, facand cunostinta cu sound-ul britanic. In cele din urma a ales muzica electronica".
Pe 27 septemebrie 2010, impreuna cu label-ul Defected Records va lansa noul volum al compilatiei "In The House", pentru care a selectat doua CD-uri.
