Organizatorii celei mai mari conferinte de muzica electronica, Winter Music, au anuntat oficial perioada de organizare a evenimentului de anul acesta, 23 - 27 martie.
Lansat in anul 1985, ca o platforma de sustinere a industriei dance, Winter Music Conference are un program destinat DJ-ilor profesionisti, label-urilor si promoterilor: conferinte, seminarii, intalniri de lucru, receptii, lansari de proiecte si multe party-uri. La WMC participa, in fiecare an personalitati ale muzicii electronice, dar si inovatorii industriei de gen.
In anul 2009 au avut loc conferinte la care au tinut discursuri 230 de vorbitori, au fost organizate 52 de seminarii, workshop-uri si intalniri demonstrative. Orasul Miami a gazduit 70.000 de participanti si 3.228 de delegatii din 62 de tari.
La capitolul highlight pentru WMC 2010, se anunta Ultra Music Festival si IDMA (International Dance Music Awards). WMC va gazdui si a treia editie a South Beach Sessions, a 4 a editie pentru Record Collector Show, raritati in muzica electronica.
Industria muzicala iti ofera acum posibilitatea de a-ti exprima optiunea. In cadrul celei mai mari conferinte dedicate muzicii electronice, Winter Music Conference, muzica va fi premiata la nivel universal. De la cel mai bun track underground, la cel mai puternic label, cel mai reusit eveniment, cel mai bun show radio, pana la inalta tehnologie de productie.
Linii de vot pentru International Dance Music Awards au fost deschise publicului, acesta avand posibilitatea sa-si aleaga favoritii la cele 57 de categorii, pana pe data de 26 februarie.
